Cape to Cape Deferrals and Transfers Explained
Cape to Cape Deferrals and Transfers Explained
Thinking of riding Cape to Cape but worried something might come up and you won't be able to make it? We understand sometimes things happen and plans change. So, we've listened to you and have streamlined our deferral and transfer options to look after our riders and make the decision to enter easier for you.
"We want to see you riding Cape to Cape and realise sometimes things happen and plans change. If something happens and it's not this year then we would love to see you back next year," said Director Megan Grygorcewicz.
If you've registered or thinking of registering and you're not able to ride with us this year, you have the option to defer your entry to 2025 or even transfer your entry to a mate so they can ride.
Deferral
You can defer your entry to the 2025 Cape to Cape regardless of the reason. To defer your entry, you need to notify us by email at hello@capetocapemtb.com by 11:59pm (AWST) on Tuesday 15 October 2024.
Transfer
You can transfer your entry to another person. To transfer your entry, you need to notify us by email at hello@capetocapemtb.com by 11:59pm (AWST) on Tuesday 15 October 2024.
Please note: The replacement rider must hold or purchase the appropriate AusCycling Licence to ride and their age and gender will determine their event category (Solo or Pairs).
