Invitational Mixed Team Relay Prologue to open 2025 Cape to Cape MTB

18 September 2025

The 2025 edition of Cape to Cape MTB will start with an invitational Mixed Team Relay Prologue on Wednesday 15 October in Margaret River.

Taking place the day before the official start of the four day event, the Mixed Team Relay Prologue forms part of the new community festival including the previously announced Cape Kids on Wednesday afternoon.

Held at Nippers Oval in the heart of Margaret River the prologue brings the local community closer to the race than ever before, and provides an opportunity to watch some of Australia's top mountain bikers up close.

The invitational event will see 10-15 riders in the open men's and women's fields randomly drawn into pairs to contest the four-lap race, with each rider completing two laps each.
