The Augusta Margaret River Tourism Association is Australia’s leading organisation in Visitor Information Services. It operates two visitor centres, in Margaret River and Augusta, which offer a fabulous service to visitors, including a complimentary accommodation, tour and event booking service, free maps of the region, a regional visitor guide and great advice and knowledge of the local region.

The Shire of Busselton, located in the renowned Cape to Cape sub-region of the South West of WA, is an important supporter of the Cape to Cape MTB being held in their region. This is a local government authority dedicated to meeting the challenges presented by being such a fast growing area and to offering a diverse range of services and facilities to the community.

The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River is located in the easily accessible south west corner of Western Australia. A population of 13,000 live in this beautiful natural environment, which offers diverse opportunities in housing, employment, education and leisure pursuits.

Meelup Regional Park, on the Geographe Bay side of Cape Naturaliste, is 280kms South of Perth. It is approxmately 572 hectares in area and extends from Dunsborough to Bunker Bay.

The Water Corporation is the principal supplier of water, wastewater and drainage services in Western Australia to hundreds of thousands of homes, businesses and farms, as well as providing bulk water to farms for irrigation. As part of an overall effort to reduce our water use, the Water Corporation is urging the community to save at least 60 litres of water per person each day. Keeping to your designated sprinkler roster and only watering for 10 minutes per station (for pop-up sprinklers), are some of the ways of achieving this target.

Zaidee Rose Alexander Turner – aged 7 years and 22 days died suddenly on 2nd December 2004 from a burst blood vessel in her brain called a Cerebral Aneurism.
The Turner family had been registered Organ and Tissue Donors for 5 years. As a result Zaidee donated her Organs and Tissues at the Royal Children’s Hospital (Victoria) as were her wishes at the time.
In order to reach their goal of making organ and tissue donation and awareness more prevalent in our community, Zaidee’s parents established the Zaidee Foundation in 2006.
Cape to Cape MTB has joined forces with the Zaidee Foundation to promote this key message. The Margaret River Special Stage on day 3 of the event (Saturday October 17) will see all riders in the Cape to Cape MTB given a pair of rainbow shoelaces to proudly wear while they ride.

Perth Mountain Bike Club (PMBC) was formed in 1988 with most members residing in the Perth metro area.
