During the Cape to Cape MTB riders can choose to stay with the event or stay elsewhere, but must arrange the accommodation themselves.
If you wish, you can check out some alternative accommodation options by visiting the multi-award winning Augusta Margaret River Tourism Association, which provides a free and personalised information and booking service for MTB riders. Friendly staff know the region intimately and can help you create an unforgettable Margaret River experience.
Contact AMRTA’s friendly staff on (08) 9780 5911 or email welcome@margaretriver.com. Alternatively visit www.margaretriver.com where you can book online.
If you do choose to arrange accommodation yourself, we recommend you stay in Margaret River or Prevelly, as both areas are very central points for the event.
Overnight stops for 2012 will be Hamelin Bay Caravan Park on October 25 and Prevelly Park Beach Resort and Margaret River on October 26/27. Camping is also available at Hamelin Bay on the night prior to the start of the event (October 24). The event will finish in the town of Dunsborough on October 28.

For riders wishing to stay in a central location for the entire event and travel daily to and from the start/finish lines we would recommend basing yourself at either Margaret River or Prevelly/Gnarabup (approximately a 5 minute drive west from Margaret River).
A transport service will be available for those who need it, to transport tents and luggage between Hamelin Bay and Prevelly Park on Day 2, and from Prevelly Park to the finish line on Day 4. Shower and toilet facilities are available at each of the Cape to Cape MTB camp sites.
