2023 Course Overview Released

Get excited for four days of the best trails and terrain in the South West!

Our course overview for the 15th edition of Cape to Cape is here, and we are super excited to share how epic this year's trails and vibes will be. There are four awesome stages lined up for you, each with its own unique terrain and character and each with a special place in the history of Cape to Cape. Here's what you can expect:

Stage One – Cape Leeuwin
It’s the most iconic start line in Australian MTB Stage Racing and it wouldn't be right not to include it in the 15th Cape to Cape – the roll-out from Cape Leeuwin remains the grand depart of Cape to Cape for 2023! With the lighthouse towering in the background, waves crashing against the cape and the hills looming – Stage One’s rollout is grandiose to say the least and will set you up for an epic weeks riding!

Stage Two – Boranup
We're headed back to the towering forests of Boranup once again in 2023, with a revamped course design that'll see the favourites included, while removing some of the more sandy and slower sections from 2022. The vineyard setting for your start and finish is back, and as the longest stage of the week, we can definitely crown Stage 2 the Queen for 2023.

Stage Three – Margaret River
You love it each year and there’s no way we could leave it out of the 15th Cape to Cape – the Margaret River stage on the epic flow trails of Compartment 10 and The Pines is back! You’ll dive into the complex trail network the town is famous for, and come out asking to ride lap after lap of the smooth and flowy trails. The lineup we've put together this year will have you flowing better than beer out of the keg - think pure MTB heaven!

Stage Four – Cape Naturaliste
It wouldn't be right to not round out your Cape to Cape experience without visiting the other Cape of the South West - Cape Naturaliste, so we’re back again in 2023! The course team is tweaking this one to get it riding even better, as the perfect way to cap off a weeks riding and claim your medal.
