2022 Course Overview Released!

10 August 2022

One of the most exciting parts of any build-up to a race is the course reveal - and this years has a few surprises that we hope get you excited to come back and get the good times rolling in 2022!

The course team has been hard at work finding new trails, perfecting old ones, tweaking the courses and coming up with the best four days of riding they could get their hands on - and it’s ready for you to view!

Stage One – Cape Leeuwin

It’s the most iconic start line in Australian MTB Stage Racing – the roll out from Cape Leeuwin remains the grand depart of Cape to Cape for 2022! With the lighthouse towering in the background, waves crashing against the cape and the hills looming – Stage One’s rollout is grandiose to say the least and will set you up for an epic weeks riding!

Stage Two – Boranup

We’re resurrecting a fan favourite for 2022 – the Boranup stage is back! With the towering trees and snaking trails in Boranup forest, the highway to hell section with coastal views to die for, and a vineyard setting for your start and finish – we can definitely crown Stage 2 the Queen for 2022.

Stage Three – Margaret River

You loved it in 2021 and there’s no way we could leave it out of 2022 – the Margaret River stage on the epic flow trails of Compartment 10 and The Pines is back! Rolling out of a brand new venue for Stage 3, you’ll dive into the complex trail network the town is famous for. The lineup of trails ahead will have you flowing better than beer out of the keg - think pure MTB heaven!

Stage Four – Cape Naturaliste

After making a landmark return to Cape Naturaliste in 2021, we’re back again in 2022 with a few course tweaks to resolve the congestion issues and ensure maximum good times rolling this time around! The perfect way to cap off a weeks riding and claim your medal.

Head over to the Course Info page to see more details of your 2022 Cape to Cape stages.
