3 March 2024

It is time to get excited for four days of racing the best trails and terrain in the South West of Western Australia!

The 16th edition of Cape to Cape is sure to be the best with epic trails and vibes.

The 2024 edition of the Cape to Cape will see four awesome stages, with three returning favourites and a brand new stage in Nannup. Each creating their own special place in the history of Cape to Cape.

Here's what you can expect and start planning for

Stage 1 - Cape Leeuwin

The iconic roll out from Cape Leeuwin remains the grand depart for the 2024 edition. With the lighthouse towering in the background, waves crashing against the cape and the hills looming – the roll out is like no other. Riders will thunder up Skippy Rock Road in a peloton far cooler than any at the TDF, before dropping into a mix of single trail, fire road and gravel punctuated by rolling hills and a few steep, sharp climbs.

Stage 2 - Nannup

An all-new stage two will see the Cape to Cape head to Nannup for the first time as riders race through the pristine Tank 7 Mountain Bike Park.

The trails provide a rough, raw and rocky experiences for the enthusiasts, suitable to riders across a range of abilities from beginners to the more adventurous and experienced.

Stage 3 - Margaret River

The fan favourite stage is back and for good reason as the Cape to Cape would not be complete without going over the famous trails next to Margaret River - Compartment 10 and the Pines!

We head back to CBCCo, as the stage venue and host, which is why it is a fan favourite not just for the fantastic beverages but for its kick-back and relax vibe. After departing CBCo, we roll towards a lineup of trails ahead that will have you flowing better than beer out of the keg, with berms, rollovers and machine smooth compacted trail beneath your tyres. Pure MTB heaven!

Once you're almost single-trailed out, we'll burn it back through the bush for a round of the region's finest bevvies next to the lake to celebrate just one stage remaining.

Stage 4 - Cape Naturaliste

Rounding out the 16th edition of Cape to Cape anywhere else just wouldn't be the same, so we're stoked to be heading back to Cape Naturaliste and Wise Wines for Stage 4.

It all starts with a brief encounter with the cost up at Eagle Bay to kick things off, before you head for the trails of Zone 6 and the Golf Course in Dunsborough. You'll zig and zag your way through here until your heart's content before the final section up to roll under the finish arch and mark yourself a Cape to Cape finisher!

Courses are subject to change up until race morning briefing.
